Instructions

  1. Combine jackfruit preserve and jaggery syrup in a pot. Mash well to break down any lumps.
  2. Pour in the third coconut milk and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  3. Add the second coconut milk and continue cooking until the payasam begins to thicken.
  4. Once it reaches your desired consistency, gently stir in the first coconut milk.
  5. Finish by adding dry ginger powder and cumin powder, stirring to combine.
  6. Remove from heat and serve the jackfruit payasam warm or chilled.
